A Fun and Functional Way to Recycle Old Christmas Cards

If you are like me, you hate to throw away all of those beautiful Christmas cards that you receive each year from all of your friends and love ones. I thought why not recycle them into gift tags. It is simple, easy, and fun. If you have a pair of scissors, some ribbon, and some glue you are all set to make own one of kind gift tags.

  2. Great idea! Like you, I have saved all the Christmas cards we have received for years! They're not doing me much good stored in the basement so I'm going to dig them out and turn them into tags.
    Thanks!

  5. I love this idea, I always save the prettiest cards...this is a really inexpensive way to get some new ornaments for my tree. A great craft to try with the kids as well. Thanks for the inspiration. : ) Carrie

  6. We do this too. Each year after Christmas I tear the cover off each card and make a pile--they go in with the gift wrap, then they are ready for us to use the next year.
