It is not much but, I love these old scales. I found this one at a garage sale this morning and decided it needed to be rescued. Although it is missing it's glass front, it is still exceptionally accurate. A little light sanding and some paint is all it took to achieve this lovely rustic appearance.
I like them, too! You did a really good job with the painting and sanding.
ReplyDeleteI love all things vintage, shabby and chippy.....you did a great job on this scale...by the way, I like the scale without the glass
ReplyDeleteI love the new paint job!! Beautiful richness and color
ReplyDeleteI love scales too. Your scale looks great.
ReplyDeleteOooh it's fabulous! What a terrific garage sale find! I've been collecting them in my kitchen for a couple of years. They are really hard to find out here. Lucky you!!!! The new paint job looks so natural. Great job!
