I purchased this lunch pal for $1.25 with fifty percent off because of it's vintage appeal. I thought it would look great sitting on a shelf in my craft area. Then, I came across the above awesome ideas for transforming it with paint, stamps, and other embellishments. It not only serves as a decorative piece but it also act as great storage. So now, I am just trying to decide between the paint colors either the fun and fresh blue or my usual choice black. I am hoping, after a few coats of paint it's blemishes will be less noticable.
What a fun find! Can't wait to see the end results. Jackie
ReplyDeleteI have one too! I have been wanting to do some altered art to it. It reminds me of the one my Dad always carried when he came home from the train. LOVE your dresser redo. cherry
ReplyDeleteIt will be awesome however you decide to paint it but I see it with a geranium sitting in it.

Thanks for commenting on my Transformation Thursday post! I did that table a while ago, so I don't remember what brand of spray paint I used! Whatever it was, I got it at Lowe's. Right now I have a can of Rustoleum American Accents silver that's about half full, so that very may well be the one I used!
ReplyDeleteHi there! I came over because I wanted to personally invite you to the blog party I am throwing. I think it will be fabulous, and I want all my fabulously creative blog friends to come! It's called...Where Bloggers Create! It was inspired that by the magazine Where Women Create. I would love for you to show off your workspace! I have admired your blog for some time and think you would make a wonderful addition to the party. Hop over to My Desert Cottage or Valentine Studio and read all about it!
